I recently bought this corsa C which has only done 4700 miles and it looked like it had been sponsored by the local carwash!

after much Zymol HD Cleanse, and zymol cleaner wax, then a poorboys top coat it was looking much better

What does everyone else use on there motors? anyone tried the high-end Zymol stuff.. the £60+ jars of wax?

any recommended swirl mark removal methods?
this is my first black car!

Get a sheepskin mit for washing it to keep it nice if you don't already use one. Use polishing rags - the ones that come on a roll and you chuck out after you have used them too

i use a sheepskin thingy and also a home made grit stopper in the bottom of my wash bucket. i use meguiars polishing cloths.

i am thinking of doing a bit of polishing/restoration work, but standards are so high, not to mention zymol products are v.expensive!
