Am i crazy for thinking of getting an MK1 Golf Gti and stripping it down to make a track day car? something very similar to this http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/132083.htm




Been thinking of getting a track car, as i don't want to risk it with my own main car (plus its shit).

Or would it be better to get a corsa and do the same thing?

You would be better with a mk2 - easier to get hold of the car & spares for little money!!
