Steve sorry to dissapoint but i dont recall this series

When was it shown and for how long? I dont usually miss things like this, have been into nam films/series all my life, they cant have advertised/promoted it much?

It came out in around '87 and my cousin has them all on DVD, sure he said it was 50+ episodes
