Well after a few texts I was ropped into playing co-pilot for a trip to London today to pick up my mate Gaz's new motor.. Plan was to stay overnight in some engurlish town and get p!shed with mates who were also down south on random business but we decided to go hardcore and blast home instead.. good idea...

Early start:

Only bit of excitement we had was seeing a cossie and skyline convoying with about 10 other fibreglassed pieces of tat:

Stocked up on healthy snacks:

Then after a detour to drop of some random ebay stuff we made it to London, haggled a poor boy to tears and loaded J-Lo onto the trailor:

Then it was full steam ahead aiming north:

Then 4 tanks of diesel later, a few sketchy moments and plenty of red bull we made it home 16 hours later and near on 1000 miles in a day..

Pics to follow of J-Lo when its had a wee makeover...

Oh yeh and were off to Scarborough tommorow for the most random motor of the year, Esther's gettin the chance to stretch her legs down the A1 this time..pics to follow no doubt..

1000 miles in a trannny van, 500 towing a nova?

Blimey... you are brave. And the 85 pic shows that whatever speed your doing, there will always be a tranny van behind you!

And hows ya back?

A 75bhp transit connect.. lol.. Was an experience to say the least. Went ok but hills caused some stress. Wouldv'e preffered to have been driving but wasn't insured so it was 16 hrs of maximum boredom.

Trailor we were using is mega steady so managed to keep a good pace there and back..

Not a lot.. Has a set of softstars ordered for and then it'll just be a few wee odds an ends. Very clean shell for its age and overall a good wee car. Still a 1.6 aswell which is ideal..

he knew you had travelled 500 miles and you still haggled him! good work that if some tried to haggle me after driving all that way i'd send them on their way empty handed.
