It was £200, already built, i got a transeiver,pump,lots and lots of fuel, glow starter and a few other bits didn't think it was to bad. Could of built one from the start but didn't want the hastle.

probably incase you take someones head off.

Its like beach sports such as kite surfing i think, there are plenty of people there who you can literally fly into and hurt

If you join a club they usually give you insurance as part of it - only about £7 IIRC.
