what do people think to these, do you make a nice sound when partnered witha drilled box? Basically are they any good cheers.

Dont drill your airbox (see link)

Remove all the restrictive bits (resonator etc...) place in a panel filter (k&n, pipercross etc) and make a cold air feed the is sealed around the box then mount your new intake pipe so it gets loads of air. This will sound better, you wont get heat soak, and it will improve throttle response better than any other kind of air filter IMO

True but even so an enclosed type filter will keep up presure to a certain degree

there pretty good, iv got one

but induction noise made hardley any difference, drilling a few holes makes a massive difference

dont drill it. just buy a K&N cone filter and put inside the airbox

hmmmmmm how you gonna attach that to the inlet pipe inside the air box

use a 45degree bend of samco hose, cut the box so the hose fits tightly in the new hole, attach ind kit, then ditch the old air feed and get a new bigger one located behind the grill
