Well, i was enjoying myself working in hull this week, i got a call of my sister at around 3 yesterday afternoon.
The garage has been broken into.
Fuck.
We dont know what they've taken, what was in there?
Explained all the stuff i could remember.
Yeh, i think its all there.
Great.
So, i arranged with work to send someone else down, so i could come back.
They didnt get to the hotel till 7.30.
I was in a VW transporter.
I got to the tyne tunnel at 9pm, then had to wait for 20mins in a que to get through, fuck.
Picked dave up, went round to the garage.
Here are my amazing paint skillz to show you what happened...
1 - The van, parked at a small entrance to the field.
2 - guys go into field
3 - run down edge of field, lots of cover from trees
4 - at bottom of garden there is a small hill, and a collapsed shed, they would have waited here, as you can see every window on every house on the street, wait for all the lights to go out, then move.
5 - run down garden, path all the way, get to back of garage, use tin snips to cut a doorway into the back of the garage, then clear the rubbish out of the garage & make a path to the car.
Well, thats it.
I thought they hadn't taken anything.

The manifold is what i want back the most, there aint many around, so should be easy to spot.
Its wrapped in silver heat wrap, the ports are clean as i was cleaning them up when i was porting the head.

Yeh, not a bunch of kids.
I've oviously been watched, they knew i only went there at weekends, i had the doors open on sat, removing the 1400 16v, so people could have seen in.
But they didnt take...

will keep an eye out mate, the BTB manifold will be easy to spot, as you said not many around.
if you need a replacement 4 branch I have one you can have for a few pennies.

Just spoke to my sis, its her garage, she randomly took the manifold out after she discovered the break in!

scum aint they. My garage is like a jail, every area of around our house is covered by cctv, we have cctv inside the garage and ful 24hour redcare alarm setup.
