Ive got ones in my front doors holding 13cm speakers at the moment. Are these the same adaptors that can be used for 17cm speakers? Do you just remove the plastic ring?

I Bought these adaptors at the weekend and fitted 17cm speakers but didn't use the 2 black rings that came in the box, So i guess so

needed to knock around the metal hole for them to put 17's into mine

depends on depth of speaker and size of magnet

the speakers in the gsi are shite and crackaly so i need to pull my finger out and get it sorted
