Taking my mum to ireland for her birthday and we are staying in dublin... Maybe the city centre.

Any one recommend any hotels there looking for a 4star to be honest.

Iv stayed in the Jury Doyles on Landsdowne Rd (5*) quite a few times and would recommend it highly although i have a feeling it has been bought out by a construction company who are turning it into apartments. Check there site.

westbury is as posh as fuck and as expensive

we are not going to be spending long at all in the hotel so don't want anything too amazing...

that jury doyles looks a good price to say its a 5* will look into that.

anymore places welcome

It is fairly posh.

I watched the Liverpool vs Luton FA cup game in the bar there (the 5-3 when Alonso scored form his own half) and was being a bit loud and swearing a bit and got a few funny looks for other guests!

it does look amazing, but for the amoutn of time were going to be spending in the hotel propably won't be worth it. and like i say the prices it was giving me were crazy!

thinking more towards a 3 star now, because they seem to have what we will be wanting... or maybe a 4 i don't know lol
