Alien was better than Aliens, then again i think Ridley Scott is a better director that James Cameron (though T2 was a work of pure genius) so

I don't agree with that.

I thought even Alien 3 was crap, but after watching it quite a bit recently I have fallen in love with the film, its a perfect ending to a perfect trilogy. (Alien 4 does not exsist in my eyes)

All the extended versions are good imo. Resurrection is still pretty crap but the extended version redeems itself a little.

Alien 3 extended version is a totally different film, may I suggest you read some of the potential scripts that writers wrote for Alien 3 before they decided to use the one they used?

Some of them had SOOOOO much potential and with a decent director could have been 10x the movie it actually was.
