Really confused and cant seem to make a definate decision.
I have a friend whos over in Oz until Oct this year and has been suggesting for ages for me to go see her, i really wanna do this but cant make my mind up as to whether to just do it as a holiday for 3 weeks and return to work after, (and wish i could have stayed longer), or to hand my notice in and go on an open ticket and get work out there like she is and fall back on my current second job (which theyll keep open for me) when i return until i get a proper full time job again.
I got a flight price today for the end of April at a price of £600  with emirates which seems so so cheap and so tempting.
I dont really have any ties keeping me here in this shitty country.
What would you do if you had this opportunity?

is Oz like usa where you can only stay for 3months before you have to get a work permit/green card?
if i had the opportunity i would go over there, you'll regret coming home and back to your job if you go for a few weeks

thats what im thinking, the visa situ is the same yeah, 3 month holiday visa or 12 month working visa.

Do it. If you've definitely got something to come back to you cant really lose out of it. Better to get it done than to um and ah until the chance passes by and you end up regretting it.
You're only here once, make the most of it.

well finally done it, may 10th for three weeks initially (holiday from work) then ill see how i feel when im out there. Only 600 quid as well

Beat me to it. That would definitely help with the decision.
I would definitely go for it if you have the opportunity, almost guaranteed job when you get back in terms of a bit of cash coming in etc.
