Damm it, the only usefull bit of information I know about this car and you say it
Isn't it due to the fact the engine sits slightly pissed in the the 205? You can get another mount or something to solve it though? My friend had a Mi16 converted 205 which was simply awesome, awesome.

need an early engine, later engine have a cast iron block, early engine allly block.not like a xe corsa at all. there faster, handle better. accelaration and top speed depends on which gearbox u use

There was an mi16 205 at a trackday i went on and was anihilating everything around track apart from the odd kit car
Found out that it had been bored out to a 2.1, huge thirsty tb's ect ect
to say it was quick is a major understatement

my mate had a 205 mi16 went really he had the 1.6 gti box on it with the mi16 final drive, it suffered from oil surge as said above, couldnt keep up with my nova 16v but wasnt far behind! handled much better than the nova though perfect track cars and an overall very nice looking car even today after so long!

owned a 205 mii6, and done plenty corsa xe engine swaps. the corsa in my opinion doesnt compare, even in straight line accelaration especially if its got the 1.6 box

I met a guy with one tonight. He reckon'd his was 220bhp, that is quite possible then?
Sounded ace and went like stink, didn't beat me tho of course
How much do they weigh? The power to weight bhp must be high, his simply had buckets and a steering wheel

i would say its not quite as torquey as a redtop in a straight line but would kill any redtop corsa round a track, been out with my neighbour who has one and it feels as if its going along tracks

oily pants - yup there is a way of mounting the engine straight rather than tilted.
OR... just fit a sump baffle!

First car i've ever come accross that wasn't a tiny blip in my mirror
First corner and i'd gained about 10 car lengths on him tho
How much do they weight? about 700-800kgs? His was totally stripped. Didn't even have a cage because he said they weigh to much
His power to weight bhp must easily be 300bhp+
