Sent an item, has got damaged in post, have proof of posting etc, pics of damaged item. was only standard parcels no extra insurance so maximum insurance payout is 35 i think which is ok.
Just wondering if anyoine else has had any success claiming? and if so how long did it take for money to arrive?

I claimed money back for a missing parcel, i sold a series of friends on VHS a few years ago which went walkabouts and I managed to get the money back. I thinki it took a couple of weeks, but it was a good few years ago now!

You might get it eventually. Royal Mail tend to be a bit useless TBH.

i am currently claiming for a parcel which went missing due to them being so shit

Filled in their forms etc, got a letter back then stating "reply within 5 days with a full description of the item size what it was etc" so now waiting for my money - cant see them paying out though yet i spend a fortune with them sending ebay parts off

Max will be £32. We're currently dealing with claim forms from 16th Feb, so we're just under two weeks behind. If you put a claim in now, you'd be looking at getting the money in 3 weeks or so.
