yeah stu, oh well you'll know better next time. also make sure you move the mount thing off the windscreen because it also advertises the fact you have a tomtom

Like I say, its my own bloody fault! I always make sure I remove the mount, they just got lucky I guess?!
They did two other cars on my street that night but when I came to the car the next morning it was open and there was no damage whatsoever to it, so like a muppet I think Id left it open! The other cars on the street had lock/door damage and also had things nicked out of them so to be honest I think leaving it open and leavin a little prezzie for them saved me a fair bit of cash! Whats a well used 2 year old tomtom worth? £75? Compare that to repairing a door and a new lock etc for a Jag?
I would still have loved to catch them tho, they would still be locked in my shed now!

Also if you have tomtom make sure if you take your mount out then wipe clean the ring mark on the windscreen as some cars are being broken into on the off chance that you've hidden the tomtom and mount in the glovebox or under you seat. I know you all must have done this once or twice. Car near me got broken into for the reason above and they smashed the window and ripped the dash apart trying to open the locked glovebox.
