hi ive recently posted a topic bout the icv problem i had, ive had a mechanic who deals with vauxhalls alot and he checked my icv out and reset the icv by hand, and said it was fine, thing is my top inlet gasket is broken on one end ive tightened the intet up and it doesnt seem to be leaking but probably is my cars still reving up to 5k sometimes goes from 2k to 4k and the eml is on i went to do a paperclip test and its not a 10pin plug like topbuz.co.uk sed, this mechanic said he'd plug the computer into it and i guess erase and reset everything is this a common when removig the icv? he said ur suppose to do this could anyone shed sum light on it?
