you have to be careful of bikes, they're too fast to be racing cars in. mate of mine, Ste32 off here has just bought a 125cc race bike, ridiculously fast

I remember back in the day having a race with a rs125, I had my 1.3 nova back then and it was dead even. Until we came to a corner. He attempted a racing line round the right-hander, hit a cat-eye and the bike leapt across the road, lucky to hold it, we both slowed after that

Should've put we stopped and chatted after, then when we both left did a little drag race and he was quicker off the mark, but once moving was even

i had a suzuki rgv 125 (same engine as rs125 afaik)
i remember racing a corsa probably a 1.2 i reckoned and it was so even. theres no way it did 0-60 in 6 secs.
did 100mph flat out and was fun but not quick by any stretch imo.. (mayeb it was still restricted but i always thought it wasnt as 100mph was a gd speed for a standard bike aparently)

I used to have an Aprilia RS 125 too.
But i also used to race one of these.........

Its a Honda RS 125R which is a full blown race bike. A PROPER 125 They're good for 135-140mph at club/british championship level. Mine was faster then a moderatley tuned 400, although i dit have the advantage of being a 5ft 6, 9.5 stone jockey

My mate's old bikes were always quicker than any cars any of us had
Both his RD125s would destroy us all, then he got a KR250TT which was just stupid fast for a 250, then a pair of VFR400s which IMO are the best sounding bikes ever, now he has a CBR600 and absolutely no-one can get near him
His VFR400 (NC24) was faster than another friends 330bhp Escort Cosworth and his NC30 was even quicker.
