Bought my car off calidus knowing it needed a new AFM. The car has been running poorly so i just got a new afm off a CS member. Fitted it and the car is still acting that same!

It cuts out when you slow down and put the clutch in

S'why I never buy a car with a problem, because if it's sold with one thing wrong then there's bound to be something else.

Well just changed CTS....nope

now what is next?
In the back of the car when i bought it off calidus i found 2 idle control valves. Might try and fit one and see what happens.

the c16xe i had in my 96 sport had problems with the tps that gave high and low idle but it never cut out.

No calidus did buy this engine off me (knowinbg about this problem) but i think he stripped and sold this engine and bought another one which is in your car, but might be worth checking the tps

But why can't vauxhall get tech 2 too talk to it?

because tech 2 only works for engines from 1997 and the C16XE engine in mine is pre 1997

Might put on new throttle position sensor tomorro

Where are you from? I know a place local that does Free diagnostics aslong as you Have the work done with them and they are cheap, if you take the car elsewhere it costs £20 though
