pissed off cus i was so close.
2 majors. one for gonig 50 in a 30 (missed the sign when it changed) and one for not checking enough on my reverse round a corner.
she complented how smooth and good the drive was though.
she also said if i hadnt missed the 30 sign (just after motorway exit) then i wouldve probably passed
oh well. book another

Hard luck buddy. Did your instructor not take you round the test routes? Mine did so I'd knew all of the speed limits, and little traps the road might have lying ahead. Don't worry though, get another one booked!

just booked another. 10th of april. but going for cancellations obviously. need to get out in my car get as much experience as possible. then go for it again. just take my time more.
like missed that road signnd then nearly went down a no turn raod lol. so that was a major for reading signs and then i got a major for not observing enough on reverse park but she said it was a great drive and if i didnt miss that 50 i wouldve passed
apprently if you get one major though they give you another anyway so that you cant appeal against it

Haha, you've just reminded me of when I was sat waiting silently in the little tiny room before my test with about five other candidates and instructors. My instructor turned to me and said that I looked nervous and that I'd be fine, then kinda tried to make a joke to make light of the situation, "just make sure you stop at that stop sign" and chuckled to herself. I replied "which one?" to which there was then an uproar of laughter from the other instructors.

Well at least yours was a valid reason mine was for goign to slow (in terenchal rain) i was doign 50 instead of 60, and apprantly i made a car slow down but what happend was i was indicating to get into the right hadn lane so i done mirrors, signal, let a car & a van go past then i saw a bloody audi A3 jus waiting {me thinking he was letting me in} i pulled into the right hand lane and he came racing up behind me and i got failed for that. Better luck next time

she said to me get your thumb on the horn incase they try something stupid.

what annoys me is the fact the instructor could be in a bad mood and fail you for the hell of it.
lucky for me she was in a good mood ( apprently she can be a right bitch) and i had a nice chat with her. but there was a genuine reason to fail me (fuck you road signs :@ lol)
but if i went in and had some moody bastard and i honestly felt i had a good drive and afiled i would kick up shit
