...got started modding my sxi
i've had my red sxi for over six months and been wanting to mod her for ages
but the most i'd done was fit an universal air filter for the noise
so last week my mate popped to lmf and got a badgeless grille
i thought it looked sweet so i went and got one
that was on monday
on tuesday i fitted it and went looking for exhausts
didnt find anything at the time
today i went down the scrappy and got a set of smoked rear lights and some alloys not sure what they're off

then popped into my local car bits place
and got a tail bomb exhaust
so since then i've cleaned up the alloys
fitted the rear lights
and starting debadging the back end
looks mint already
only problem is the allohys are a bit ratty and need a refurb
so am thinking of getting them referbed in matt balck to go with my red/black colour scheme,
and i'll get some picks up tomorrow
just thought u'd like to know and see what people had to suggest for next step etc.

Looks good - get a topic going in Projects.

Remove the 16v badge, just looks like you want to race everything.

Red SXi's are pretty rare - smoked side repeaters and remove SXi badge, will look good!

i like hte exhaust cuz i didnt wanna overstate it but maybe a little smaller than i wanted
still deciding whether to do the rear lights with another coat of tinting spray

lol one of mates has got the 3.5 " oval on his 1litre corsa, that and the induction kit sounds absolutely mint,
shame his is slow as shit
mine is cool
but only really makes a difference to the sound when i back off then it sorta gurgles

all the badges are off apart from the griffin on the boot lock bit
and the induction kit is back on as i couldnt get the right noise from drilling it
and my insurance is sorted, expensive but sorted,
will get some new pics up over the weekend
