I have a 1.0 12 V eco at the moment and tbh the engine is ready to give up i reckon, i keep getting the engine managment light comin on
Just saw this on ebay and wondered if you could do a conversion between these two models as i dont fancy buying a new car and couldnt reli aford the insurance on anything higher than a 1.4.

Any ideas on labour costs and any other parts ud need to buy.

it would cost more to insure if your converted your 12volt to a 1.4, than if that car was a 1400 to start with....
get rid, and buy a 1.4 if you want something a bit quicker

it would work yeah but its not very cost effective
you'd need all the ancillaries i.e manifolds wiring, etter off buying one out of the classifieds or something
or get rid of the 12volt before the engine lets go and buy a sport
