My dads project

1988 Honda hawk 600
one of a handfull in the country, only sold for US market, and was years ahaed of its time

this one never been registerd in the UK (still has US plate on it) as he picked it up



cleaned and polished







Not clean enough, so stripped down







gaskets replaced, engine cleaned



Swingarm polished



VFR wheel converted to centre hub





Clock surround polished



VFR centre hub and 4 stud rear wheels, gives an option fo which one to use



Tokico caliper and custom mount



Hiperform Seat unit, polished



Single seat cowling



Ohlins rear shock with remote reservoir



as it stands today

Next step is CBR600 F2 front end conversion, and custom exhaust to me made, and some stainless brake lines

update, with hawk 2 included

Hawk 1



standard, bar ohlins rear shock and polished

polished some more, now going OEM+ look with standard wheels but in black. standard tail unit

Hawk 2 (red one)



loads of one off enginering, bored out to 647cc, wiesco pistons, africa twin cams, gas flowed head, D&P Exhaust and system, ohlins rear shock, hiperform tail piece etc etc


had the VFR hub and wheels put on on saturday, CBR clip ons, as well as tokico 6 pot going on it from the blue one, just got cbr front end to go on

looks so much better with the single seat. like father like son with the projects. its funny to see the pair off them out there cleaning and polishing.u could get a sponsorship deal with autoglym

no his dad nearly finishes then pulls it to bits again. when james is done it wil stay in one bit
