IE - the stuff you see advertised on the telly with the magazine and what ever it is that your collecting, Bond cars, Star Trek, Harry Potter chess.

Has anyone ever done it and collected the lot? A lad I used to work with was collecting the build your own remote control car, it worked out cheaper to buy one but he couldn't afford it! LOL

My cousin collected the Subaru Impreza nitro RC car kit + magazines. Cost about £250 all together and the shops stopped selling them after a certain issue so he has to subscribe.

I remember the first issue (subaru - it came with a wheel and a few plastics) was £2 and it worked out cheaper to get 4 of that issue than it was to buy a set of 4 wheels (£20) Was the only issue I bought lol
