A new gym has opened up and the membership is £50 for the year then £2 every time you went. So if I went 3 times a week it would cost me about £500 a year. The gym I was using last year was £6 a time which I assume would be around £900 for the year, unless theres discount in membership. The gym I was a member of back in 1999 was £200 for the year!

What does everyone pay??

yeah it's normally around £40-50 for monthly membership, so you can go as much as you want and use any of the facilities ie sauna / pool / gym.

£38 a month but thats because im on a corporate membership through my work, it would be £49 usually. At Cannons, any time etc. I only do it monthly too incase i have a long term injury i can cancel till its better. When i did my knee i was at Esporta, paying £49 a month for nothing as i couldn't use it!
