yes i took it to them as i couldnt be arsed getting oiled up lol... but the price decided to increase quite abit

thanks to my brother saying get it done at the garage so we don't have 2 mess about!

IIRC, ALL multivalve corsa sumps are aluminium, and possible the 8v ones too.

i don't know if they are all alumnium but if my original wasn't im sure to get gains of at least 50bhp due to the weight?

well yeah, I can see the genuine GM stuff being expensive, but on sel, the sump is £52 for the petrol one... so I cant really see it costing the garage much more than that, hell, would probably only cost them about £35 to be honest... IF its not a GM one...

You could have bought a speedline allesio, melted it down , had it remolded and fitted WITH oil.

And that still would have been cheaper.

haha when they said it was aluminium i came off the phone and said they will propably going round the streets now to find coke a cola cans to melt down...

£150 the sump supposidly... new oil and filter

Yes they are all aluminium. Unfortunatly if you can't be arsed doing it yourself thats what you'll have to pay.

I fitted a new sump to mine yesterday. Took 15 minutes to spin it on and fill it up again. Sump cost a tenner
