Mate of mine has just sold his E30 318is to a lad from ireland so has bought himself a £100 sierra as a runabout till he picks up his new car.

This £100 sierra has spat its dummy out and as such needed a new starter motor! So off to the scrap yard we went today to get him a new unit....
Bear in mind it has been snowing so the yard looks like this!

We find a car and start taking the starter off it.....

Then it kind of dawned on us... this car is mint?! seriously clean!! here are some under bonnet shots to prove this....

So I go to have a look at the speedo expecting around 50k..... how wrong I was!!!

This car is a minter! So we wondered why it was in the scrappers?! So we looked round and noticed it had some minor rear quarter damage It really is a shame to write off such a low milleage mint example of an older car!

That was my days adventure into the scrap yard......
