just got a can of diet coke from the machine at work...with one of them new labelling things on that tells you whats in what/ cals etc

says it has 1.5kcal

whats that? 150 cals? 1500?

cant be 1.5cal can it...surly not

it has no sugar in it, thats why its diet, thus has no carbs, and thus no calories, it does have aspartame tho, like zero has nothing but aspartame

"calories" as we count them usually are actually 1000's of calories, or kcal (k stands for kilo). 1 calorie is the amount of energy that it takes to raise the temperature of 1g of water by 1 degree kelvin, but its a very small quantity so we use kcal for day to day usage

I know, just what people used to say to me constantly when I drank nothing but coke zero I was just quite dehydrated alot...

coke is so bad its unreal, i once used 2 litres of normal coke to was away engine oil off my drive - worked a treat

It's nothing like as bad as people make out. Carbonated spring water would probably have done the same job and the acids present in our stomach easily deal with Coke.

We use pepsi at work to clean the toilets some times, they come up a treat
