Hi,
I was just doing a quick check on a car I want to buy, but its on a Irish Number Plate. When I tried to do a Reg search on the DVLA's website, it got:

Vehicle details could not be found

As it has not been possible to locate the vehicle details, your enquiry cannot proceed and has been cancelled.

Then tried with the RAC search, and got this:

Vehicle details
Manufacturer
Model
Body type 3 DOOR HATCHBACK
Colour BLUE
Fuel type PETROL
Date manufactured 31 December 1994
Number of previous owners 3

Which is right enough, but it doesn't show the manufacturer and model? Does this happen with all private reg's, or is something amiss?

Try mine

A14MYG and vauxhall, should work ok. Even comes up with right colour.
