a 1.4 16v without aircon or equiv whats the part number for the single connection temp sensor on the egine by the thermostat that tells the dash what temp the engine is,

and the same sensor for a 1.6 16v WITH air con

i need to know if the part numbers are different

It's the same part, I remember from when I bought one for my 1.6 engine.

well ive had 2 from motor factors and both read well past the red on the gauge when the thrmostat is just starting to open about 95 ish i think

i put the std original back in and it read 92 -94
which is right as its only jus starting to open the thremostat

well, the one I had on my aircon 1.4 was the same as a non aircon 1.6 one, definitely.

so tis motorfactors must be selling a batch of buggered temp sensors then
