Check in the expansion tank aswell, does it smell "oily"?
It may just be condensation on the underside of the oil filler cap

just get a head gasket test done (sniffer test) cost £10 and stops you worrying

these engines are none for the co2 getting into the coolant, not oil, so prob just condensation

I saw B16 GEV and it's owner earlier today
Nice looking car, will look nicer with the new zorst and when the side repeators are sorted

Had the exact same thing as you fro, coupled with the running water noise behind the dash got a mechanic to do one of those head gasket tests all was fine, aparently was just condensation

Cars looking sweet!! Exhaust will look , better than the other one

Doesnt look bad. Youll know its head gasket when there is no oil but only mayo and the car is kicking white smoke out.
