...cunt ever!!!!
This morning going to work my petrol light came on, was running late and although my boss is alright i didn't want to take the piss by being really late so i thought i'd get petrol on the way home!
2 stations on the way home, 1st BP - No Unleaded, 2nd Shell - Under refurbishment!!!!!
OH SHIT, pottering past my turning my car dies!!!! Luckily after my turning is a BIG hill (pebble hill) i rolled all the way down there past Buckland Train station, doing 30mph over the crossing!!!! Luckily there was nothing coming on the round a bout doing approx 40mph turning left on the round a bout and all the way to buckland Shell garage pulling up at the 1st available pump!!!!!!
I think i must have rolled a mile and a half easily!!!!!!
I'm now safe at home!!! Thats the 2nd time i've run out of fuel, i'm normally good with keeping it topped up, getting lazy!!!!!!
Anyone else had any lucky experiences with running low on juice????

dummy. next time fill up before the needle goes right down 
but yes it has happened to me before lol. i also called myself some silly names. died in basildon on a 50 limit road about 20 seconds from the petrol station. the police came and helped me put the car onto the 'pavement' which was actually grass and my dad came out and towed me to the petrol station lol.

done this before,felt the car splutter so floored it to get as much speed up before it died.rolled a good 3/4 of a mile to the local fuel station

I run out of petrol a couple weeks ago - 1st time in 7 years of driving.
Was 4:30am, stopped 7 doors away from my house aswell, had to leave the car & walk to the petrol station when it opened

I drove 20 miles from Manchester with the fuel light on. Pressing the accellerator did nothing!

lucky lad, bad for the engine though the pump sucks up all the crap from the bottom of the tank and clogs the lines, injectors ect

I never normally let it get lower than a 1/4, but i was seeing how many miles i got to a tank!!! Just took it to thew extreme!!!!! Got 303.6 miles though

i know, thats why i normally only let it get to a 1/4, it's got a full tank of V Power now though, was a bit gutless coming out of the station but hopefully if i give it a run tomorrow it'll be alright.

i just fill mine every thusday morning (payday) bout 35-40 quid is this normal? ma mates think its alot its a 1.4 sport

im at the bottom of the redline, and got to got 7miles to work (probley going to be snowing too)
only ever run out of fuel on my bike twice! had to push it about 2miles each time

I got 430 miles to £50 in my GSi Turbo at the weekend, motorway run to Blackpool and back, thats about 170 miles more than I usually get to a tank!
