went to see about getting my sxi resprayed in metallic black
shocked by the cost
the guy gave me an estimate of £1750 + VAT
that makes it like 2 grand
i got quoted a grand from a fricking ford garage to get it done
anyone got any ideas of where to go and what price im looking at
i live in leicester but am willing to travel
anyhelp?

can't afford to do up the engine as am only nineteen and have a claim against me, but am gonna do alloys, suspension and exhaust once ive got the respray done

i read on here not long ago that a lad got a full respray in red for about 600! in newcastle somewhere i think!

All depends who you know. I have a friend who works for a company called SprayTech. He did my mates car in 'spare' time for £500.

my advice would be to have a very clear agreement with who ever is doing the work as to what is going to be done and to what standard. So many people get lazy when working on cars!
