Well what a few weeks i have had ... After all the effort sorting the mess out with the tbs i was left with it came to light that that he had made as much a good job on the engine as he did with the tbs... crusing away down motor way lost power and a hellish rattling from the engine fucked sat for a few mins and considered setting it on fire i had started becoming friendly with another local garage owner DM Autos so gave him a bell to come up lift the car.

Lovely was really clean was the only positive side lol

On the way home decided to not let it get on top of me and get her back to life, so with that i handed davie and his mate ped the keys to take it to his garage for inspection and then strip down. Head off all the new valves that were put in were fine, valve steam oil seals were totaly fucked why they were never changed first time i dont know doesnt make sense not to when the head was off. Bottom end was wasted nothing was right with it wasnt even worth looking at using again, metal filings in the sump had blocked pump and ran dry fucked lifters ect deep scratches the list could go on. Right out it came tryed fitting davie but tbs wouldnt fit so and out with him lol

Managed to get hold of a rebuilt bottom end from a fella in the next village so was onto a winner there and got the head seen to.

With that i left them to it for the week got snowed under at work but they kept me up to date by phone and all was well and out it came fittied inner arches, BBS RX alloys and gave it a good clean up

Also came the catch tank and carbon bonnet which are now on.

So thats me ready for PVS 2010 thank fucking god lol even the dog was happy

As for after PVS during the above i actually bought another x16xe from mark bone on here that i was just going to use before a new bottom end came up... time to make a silly special x16xe i think
