should have called it 'tanned' sauce..

yes, totally wrong...they are definitely not being used in a 'racist' or 'offending' way...

got that problem last week at work...they were deciding on which colour to paint walls of a corridor, I (jokingly) suggested black with no offending intent, BUT a 'white' teacher wasn't too happy that I said to paint it 'black' BTW I'm not black, not white, not brown, but 'beige' or tanned

No, seriously....

yes, brow sauce is banned

thing is, these items are in no way racist or have any trace of discrimination in them until they get labeled as such by the daft people that make up these rules.

by changing a 'blackboard' to 'chalkboard' it makes blackboard racist. whereas it wasnt thought as such before!

Where does it lead though? soon they will be saying that you can't call the colour black or brown. It's rediculous, its a board and its black, simple as, no racsim or racial hate in that is there!

St. Georges Day is a prime example of this. Every other country in the U.K has their own patron saint and they celebrate them. in good old england, this doesnt happen but there are always roads closed off so other religions can celebrate their festivals.

This thread is about colour problems iirc or am I getting something wrong?

...or maybe you have something that suggests you have a hatred against certain people?

Some people just make things worse....have you even completed primary education?

Abdus, it was in response to Stuart's 'they've cancelled easter...' comment.

If they've cancelled one religious festival, they should cancel them all, but that won't happen...

Ramadan was never a festival anyway, it's just a month in the Muslim calendar, in which people fast, but they do NOT impose it on anybody (not saying Easter is imposed on people)..The celebration day is Eid (only one day) and there is no holiday for this (not asking for one either)
