Ive been wondering for a while now...
If you have a full cage in your car eg a 10 point, and it has a rear diagonal bar yet you retain the rear seats is it still legal to sit in them despite the fact they are partially obstructed?

Hmm, your cage looks purpose built to accomodate for people in the back though.

I only need to accomodate for one person really. It shouldnt be dangerous in a crash I dont think?? Shouldnt bend anyway so shouldnt do any damage.

I think it's more about the lack of ability to get out in a hurry James

I wouldnt EVER put anyone in the back of a car if it had any sort of cage.
Far to dangerous TBH!

Didnt think of that
it is pritty hard to get in, my mum did do her back in and had to stay off work for a week,
i found that the bar that goes along the roof was at head height really so if the passenger jerks forward in a crash that they will hit there head on it

Wouldnt really fancy going in the back of a car that has a big scaffy pole welded in place to hit my face off in a crash
