I work for mercedes/smart and the amount of trouble we have with the smart roadster is a joke. The roof leaks all the time even if the roof seals are replaced it will just leak a little bit less, oh and the water gets into a control unit in the rear and that always has to be replaced and there big money, and you have the cost of stripping the car to dry it. On the cons side it is an okay car to drive but nothing special handles well because of the weight and has decent power also.

In my opinion i would stay clear there are far better car for the kinda money the roadsters sell for .
