wheels are awesome but there still seems a massive arch gap, and wihtout absoutely decking it then mi not sure how its gna work!

just wondering. peronsonally i would take a mini grinder to them before using f/glass filler on them instead of just sanding, for a better grip. not critising (sp) just trying to help...

im gona leave it higher untill the other work is finished as its easier to work on

id chop the skirts so there an inch or 2 smaller in depth, so u can lower the car mroe without them being on the deck

thats the plan guys, please remember this is a WIP thread

im doing the skirts as we speak, the ariel and indicators are going, the bumpers will be smoothed and it will be lowered more when im finished working on it, its easier at this height tbh.

no progress for a while as ive been away working, i fly back tomorrow (im currently in a swanky hotel in norway, ooooo).
anyways should get good progress over the next 2-3 weeks, lots of stuff to be fitted and prepped for paint, watch this space!!

the rear plate is a bit of a secret at teh moment im afraid lol, ill put pics up when i start, first the wings are being smoothed (indicators) and the front bumper fitted then worry about the back, which will be more difficult imo.

**UPDATE**
ok, after a long time with no updates, ive finally got something to post! although i didnt take any pictures

anyway! the skirts are almost ready for painting, a small amount of sanding is still required but thats because im a bit unsure of the finish required tbh. i now have a rear number plate recess, Mk5 fiesta (thanks whitey!), which will be shortened, smoothed and "frenched" into my rear bumper 8) .

anyone who has ever frenched anything before feel free to give advice! :?

should get most of the work done over the weekend, so ill post pics, prob sunday night for you all to laugh at. (i might even wind it right down just to get the look, if ive got time like)

also on a non DIY front, booked in at montys (bassmechanix) to sort the rear 1/4 builds and give them and the front door cards a re-trim (cheers for fitting me in dhood) :wink: .

erm... someone told me that thats what you call it when add a donor number plate recess into a bumper that doesnt have one?
i was just going to fix it somehow, fg and filler it smooth tbh?
