slow to accelerate if you let the revs drop ie at hairpins
very sketchy under braking
they hold good speed and have lots of grip around fast corners, but go sideways very easily on sharper bends.
great fun but tiring.

Also, driving after Karting feels fucking strange! We did an endurance race with work, was 120 laps I think and driving my Corsa after that was very interesting

haha, i was working there today. The karts are new and slower than the old ones but do feel alot tighter, and they're more reliable which is good.

oh, cool.
didn't realise the karts were new. how fast do they go? av lap speed 38 so they must hi 60 on the long straight?
was really impressed with the whole place
nice setup
although i got shown a 'calm down' sign

they should be doing about 65 down the straight. Yeh we constantly get ear ache from management about keeping the place running clean and smoothly. People get the wrong idea about what the calm down sign actually means but nevermind, least you never got black flagged

yellow flag is to warn of danger, so no overtaking, and proceed with caution.
tere's a black and white flag which is half as bad as the black flag, and possibly meant come in for a penalty stop?
i presume the calm down one was friendly advice that going sideways isn't the fastest way around the track?

oh i thought maybe they'd use the yellow flag to get people to calm down

na, yellow flag is just to warn of a crash. Black and white is a 'last chance' before a black. Calm down is another way of saying you're driving beyond your limits
