1) alternator positive to battery positive
2) battery negative to chassis
3) engine ground to chassis.

This is the only way to stop lights dimming, etc. Power caps DO NOT WORK. On normal systems but have been proven on very high end SQ systems

thanks, ive jsut upgraded the battery negative to chassis, with 4AWG cabling, think the others mite be a bit harder being that their inside that flexible conduit
