Today was an insane day.

I already had the lowering kit ready at home so I woke up nice and early to get it done. My mate came round to give me a lift down to the garage at 9, taking my old shocks and the new ones he used my top mounts to get the springs on the new shocks. We got that done and i also grabed myself a part time job with the garage with is good. We got home is good time and started to fit the front shocks.

Got half way through the second and realised that we where late for college rushed there for 2 hours and rushed back at lunch. Got the fronts finished and started the rears. Got everything sort of on but not properly bolted at the top and had to go back to college for another 2 periods.

Got back after college and finished it off. here the finish result:

I just took it out for a drive and the rears are rubbing on the tyres. I have heard that all you have to do it cut the metal arch and then cut the plastic arch and its fine.

This true?

i would buy the right offset wheels, that way you don't have to butcher your, or use any mastik stuff. I think you can get wheels machined to the right offset.
