It's not for me, but for a mate..

He's looking to buy a reliable, fast, convertable for about £36k, prob no older than 3/4 yrs. He does 12k/year.
At the moment, he's stuck on the idea of a Porsche Boxter, ex demo, with 19's etc..

Would consider something like TT or maybe an older Porsche Carrera...
Any suggestions?

I don't think you'd get the facelift for £36k, which look much nicer than the older ones.

He could get a convertible E46 M3 for that money - although it might be older than 4 years, possibly not though.

Audi S4 convertible, I know of a nice Sprint Blue example for sale. £27,450 and he can have it.
