when I worked at HBOS through an agency I got £9 an hour...
that was about 3 years ago now

It's not representitive doing an hourly rate if you're on salary and got a half decent package.

But.... number of hours per week x 52 = X

Then

Annual salary divided by X

I get 26 holidays per year, and sick pay and other shit etc.

ten pound odd per hour then, i also get 21 days holiday, sick pay and traveling into work paid

Your best to take 365 less (2x52) less 8 (bank hols) less no. of days holiday you get then divide that by numebr of hours per day you work (standard hours or average hours per day)

6.35 with about £150 of expenses ontop of that a month

but also got

life insurance
Health insurance
Pension
Free Gym & Fitness Coach - but do i use it

get more money in July

Do not get travel paid though cost me £1640 for my last yearly travelcard

Divide it by wahtever the result of the above sum is... ie. £10k a year =

(365-(2x52)-8-20(hols)) = 233

10000 / 233 / 7.5 = £5.72

Tis kind of roundabout but it strips out time when your not at work...

my train+parking is £3000 a year mate and thats just getting to the office.
