Morning all, thought i would pick ur brains! Looks like i'll be having to travel a 40 mile round trip a day for work soon. Currently got a Fiesta ST but looking to get a diesel as i think the ST will cost too much to run! Should have about 13k to spend. Only 20 so nothing stupid and not too big. I.e 3 door preferably. Make some suggestions and if you've driven any of the suggestions then ur views on them. Cheers

If you like the Fiesta, the ZetecS TDCi?

I can't see the ST being too juicy, especially on just a 40mile round trip. Would be different if was 40 there then 40 back.

Just keep the fiesta and drive it carefully - at least on the way to work!!

Or, A3 1.9TDi - the engine is amazing for a diesel and it will sip fuel!
