Right, I was stupid, but not retarded tonight as rushed out my apartment without my keys I realised as soon as I shut the door but was too late and was locked out. The only person with a spare key is in Newcastle tonight aswell

So I waited for an hour for the lock smith to arrive, he was a really nice chap and tried to shimmy the door open instead of breaking the lock. All he was doing was pushing some plastic card down the side and my neighbour came out and started shouting at us asking what we were doing.

Now this key guy was dressed in a bright orange dyno-secure polo, black dyno secure fleece, etc. etc. so was obvious where he was from. I explained to her how stupid I had been and apologised for any noise. Anyway she just carried on shouting saying she was going to phone the police

Luckily he managed to get it open about 30 secs later with no damage so I knocked round to apologise again, but this time she sent her fella. He followed me to my door as I was going in and tried to come in aswell to check it was my apartment as hadnt seen me before

I told him to fuck off and Im now going to play music very loud next to their wall!

Thats all.

TBF as they hadn't seen you before they were looking after your best interests incase your flat was being burgled.
I'd go and thank them or buy the woman some cheap flowers to 1) Say thanks, and 2) keep the peace with your neighbours.

as said above, I really didnt mind her asking. But when he is dressed head to toe in dyno-secure clothes and I explain how Ive lived there for 2 years, blah blah she shouldnt say she is ringing the police.

I went round after he opened it to apologise and she was chirping away in the back!

I dont think it helped that some China man person gave my address to the police sometime ago, and over the two years Ive been here Ive had them round 4 or so times at all hours after him.

She was on about already having the police around lately after me (do I look like a Mao Xai?!), as they must of called round at theirs whilst Ive been back at my parents

I am going to leave one somewhere now. Normally it would be fine as my gf is only a 25min drive away, but she went to Newcaslte this afternoon. Might give my parents one as they can drive here if I do it again
