yes.. i've seen some installed in a boot build and wanted to know what they do? they look really smart too!

my mate has one, its something to do with the amps draining all your battery power, this prevents it and doesn't make your lights dim as much.

Power capacitors are an alternative to upgrading your existing power supply without the cost of upgrading your battery and alternator. The power capacitors will charge up and release its stored energy when low frequencies are played through your system.

they basically take in power and keep it ready for when it is needed basically.

ahh i see.. so what type of capacitor is the best to go for?

Yep. Nice steady stream of power from the battery to the cap. The cap is designed to discharge power fast. Your battery isn't.

Question from me now.

Does it sound any better? Subs are getting the full wack now...?
