i am looking for a new car, was thinking about a corsa c sri 1.8 but dont no if it will be fast enough to keep me happy. is there a lot of stuff that can be bought for that engine?

also been looking at seat ibiza cupra. just cant see one with low mileage

i have about 4500-5000 to spend maybe more if i need to save. i dont want another 106gti and would only want another corsa b if it was absolutly mint and was something special.

if anyone has any other ideas for my next car let me no, it has to be fast, reliable and fairly low mileage.

i was also looking at the smart brabus roadster coupe. but noticed there semi automatic. my brother works there so i could get it cheap

Ibiza Cupra seems like a good choice. Then just do simple things like remap and wheels.

IMO hold out for the Cupra, i got mine with 86000 miles on it but it really doesn't feel like an engine with that kind of miles on it. I had my 106 GTI before the Cupra and although i loved that car, i've never looked back. I love the Cupra even more and the 1.8 20vt engines are so tuneable, you see approximately (someone correct me if i'm wrong) 35-40bhp or more upgrade just from a remap

I'm thinking of selling my Cupra at the moment. 55k, Y plate, remapped to 200bhp and 210lb/ft, scorpion exhaust, forge dv. Standard apart from that.

Great cars, reliable, solid and quite nippy (14.6 @ 102)

Cupra - 156
Cupra R - 180

Both remap to ~ 200bhp, same engine. Just the R comes with more boost as standard.
