Platinum series stuff is crap... I love autoglym stuff, use microfibre clothes though or you'll get fed up with the dust residue it leaves..

The best thing to do when polishing is use a damp cloth. This way you get a nice haze, it's easier to take off.

The key is to apply it thinly with a slightly damp applicator and WORK it into the paint. No dust then.

Going round it again with a clean cloth gets rid of the dust

Yeah. I use a Meguiars applicator pad to put it on and the microfibre cloth to take off. Then Meguairs wax. Only polish it once a year, rest of the time I just wax it.

it needs a cutting polish such as faracla only once and then numerous coats of meguires gold class wax. after that it may need waxing only once every one or 2 months.
i have used autogylm for a few years and my dad has used it for over 10 years and neither of us will use anything apart from meguires now, easy to use and the results are amazing.

Personal opinion mate.. I find I get much better results using autoglym.. I'm just using up my meguiars stuff just now and will be going back to using autoglym when its done..
