Had the cors on the weighbridge today, it cost me the grand sum of £3.5

Some of you may know the car but it stripped and caged:

Result Was

920kg with 1/4 tank of fuel

Not bad considering it still has dash + heater matrix and the cage must weigh about 30kg has gsi kit + smooth boot

I reckon once the inlet is ditched when the TB's are fitted with a few other things I have planned I could get it sub 900 easily

This could turn into a superb post if people put some input in.....

I went to my local weighbridge a fair while back.

NO chrome in the engine (weighs loads more), V6 brakes, smooth boot, stieny skirts (heavy), my old silly heavy bonnet, 2.0 16v, F20, rear disks, no rear seats but FULL of sound deadening etc, two huge rear exhausts... 1/2 tank fuel.

1.02 tonnes (1002kg).

Once i've got her running again, but stripped etc, i'll take it back down there for another reading. Will aim for 950kg odd as a start.

This weekend, people, find your local and weigh yours up, even if its standard.

Would be good to see various car weights, 2.0 with full interior, stripped, small blocks full interior, stripped etc etc....
