It is.

5 windows: rear, two rear side lights and two door. The two door are a very light grade so it blends as opposed to darkens dramatically. Still illegal but according to Tintzs, you can get away with it.

Think it may be nearer to £150 for the 5 and £100 to £120 for 3.

They were recommended to us too. Seen some of the cars they have done and they looked really good.

I think the legal limit on the front windows is something like 75%? (roughly)

As Most standard cars come with a tint straight from the factory applying a tinting film over the top will take it straight over the limit, which is why the general rule of thumb is... tinting film forward of the B pillar is not allowed. Rear of the B pillar, you may have as dark as you like

Yet again

Is Car Tinting Legal?
Whilst car window tinting is completely legal does have its restrictions in as much as it is dangerous to apply a tint that is too dark. The law states that it is not legal to apply car tints to the front side or front windscreen other than security film. Car window tints can be ordered to be removed by police if they feel that they are restrictive or applied to the wrong windows. A very good reason to have your car window tinting done by professionals as our advice is always good.

Have to admit mine use to be a pain with the door mirrors at night but you get use to it after a while.

Also extra privacy if your planning any antics

Privacy is not the only consideration (lol).... Security is the other factor. It's harder for the toe rags to see your ice if your rear windows are tinted. It's either that or you end up with those parcel shelf covers to hide your speakers.
