hi there people, i bought a peco stainless steel 4" rolled out back box for my corsa b 1.2 1998 make and i aint really that impressed with the sound, if i was to buy a straight through section also would this make a diffrence in sound quailty? or what else would help? please help me

The peco exhaust usually takes a couple of weeks to sound good.I had a big bore 4 which took 4 weeks to sound good then after another 2 days i took it off as it sounded like a fucking volcano erupting!!

you mean when its blown all the packing through?...... thats not usually a good thing

No mate i meant when its got a bit of soot in it and doesnt sound like a tin can.

Itll sound louder id imagine as you wont have a centre silencer.

lol i had same problem corsarick trust me they get louder! i can remember when i had mine fitted sounded quieter than my standard backbox that was on before! give it a few weeks does take time! i heard something like they only get louder once that black sut looking stuff builds up inside!

its been on for about 4 months now, it is abit louder but i just hope this middle section im ordering today without silencer makes it a little louder

what engine is it? if its a 1.2 i personally wouldnt bother mate!
