the 1.4 16v time is 10.5 secs so 1.4 8v is gonna be slightly more so Eckmcmann
is probably right at around 11-12 secs

Was that obtained by a mate in the passenger seat with the stop watch on there phone abd you shouting to stop when you hit 60mph on the speedo?

No lol when I first got the car I was interested how slow it was so when I pulled out of a service station onto motorway I used a speed timer thing I got free lol doesnt bother me how slow the car is, it isnt for speed (hence why I kitted it) thats what the rx-7 is for

how can this be right? the 8v is faster 0-60 than the 16v? was it alot lighter or something or perphaps these specs are wrong?

Yes that is wrong, the 8v has 81bhp for a start and the 16v 89bhp

that thing says the 1.2 16v SXi has 45bhp Think its mistaken with the 8v.

I raced my mate who had a 1.4 sri when i had my 1.2 16v and he pulled away slightly I also drove my mates car, and if i ever had to buy a run around it would be one of them ! Loved it

8v's have better torque at the bottom end of the revs!

i used to have an 8v andit was well pokey!! was my first car though. so anything would have been pokier than my push bike!!
